Dr. Egyptia is a time traveler from our time that is obsessed with ancient Egypt. She went back in time and became a Queen of Egypt. She was thwarted by some Time /Co/ps, but not before gaining a large following and obtaining some ancient supernatural artifacts. Now in our time, she desires to rule the world of today and convert the entire world into an Egyptian empire. She has several minions from ancient times at her disposal, as well as a seemingly never ending supply of reanimated mummies. She is cruel but not unkind. Although she is enemies with the Justice /Co/mrades, she may occasionally become an ally to them when the world in in peril (she considers it HER world after all), when the mystical energies that power her are threatened, or when she isn't getting along with the Sageworthy Society. She sometimes works with the SS as well, but in general she considers them an obstacle in her plans for world domination.

Her staff of Ra has many mystical properties and gives her many mysterious powers. Some examples include: flight, teleportation, nullifying beams, creating illusions, summoning magical beasts, reanimating the dead, magical force fields, and turning foes into animals. Her snake familiar can morph into many beasts. She has a giant Pyramid Fortress that can teleport, and flies around in a large Pyramid that can travel in space and under water. Her "Pyramidmobile" or "Egyptacar" can fire magic beams and has a sarcophagus escape pod. It has room for Egyptia and several mummy minions.
