Miss Fortune

Page history last edited by Molly 1 yr ago

Dominique Fortune was born raised in Universe 12F (Codename: Utah) with barely a penny to her name, do to constant robberies. Even at a young age, she realized the only thing you need to get by in the world was one thing: money. At the age of 16, she ran away, hoping to bring money to the fortune name. After many unsuccessful jobs, mousy little Dominique turned to a life of crime, and under the sleek persona of Miss Fortune, she started tailing trains and taking out hits. Dominique Fortune is you go to gal for everything. For a price, that is.

Connections to the Charity Street Shotout

It was another simple job. A bank heist at the town of Sour Springs. The usual “This is a stick-up!” with a flash and maybe a bang of a gun, and filling a burlap sack with money. But something went wrong. Dominique to this day is still not sure what, but guns suddenly started blazing outside, and a few bullets flew in and killed her hostages. She knew for a fact she was going to get blamed for this, and ran outside. Dust flew and bullets everywhere, and suddenly there was a flash of white light. For the next nine seconds, she was bombarded with knowledge of over a hundred years, and by the end had a massive headache.

Suddenly, she found herself in Charity street, standing among Silver Dollar, Blood Money, Snake Eyes, and some random cronies. The information sunk in to the four, and with a quiet “Huh”, Miss Dominique Fortune sunk to her knees, cradling herself, attempting to make sense of what happened. Within moments, Blood Money fired the first shots, and people began to die. Most of the time-shifted people were in no position to respond, or lacked the equipment or skills to do so. A few, like Silver Dollar and Black Mamba, attempted to throw up a counter-fire, but only succeeded in causing more property damage. Within two minutes, a sizeable chunk of the J/co/ arrived, trying to calm Blood Money down, along with the rest of the time-traveled folks. In the next five minutes, /co/ps arrived, guns pointed at all four of the crooks, advising them to put down their weapons. Blood Money did not handle this well, and the air was suddenly filled with gunshots from both the cops and the time-travelers.

Fortune managed to escape to a back ally, but not without a torn jacket, a few bruises and exactly five cuts. During the aftermath, she was found by the Barbaric Butler, who tended to her wounds and complemented her fashion sense. She found herself with a crush on the gentlemen as she walked away to her temporary hideout-turned-home, an abandoned clock tower on Philanthropy Street. Realizing that robbery would not be good enough in the her new flying home, she decided to become an assassin, though she still does some robberies on the side.
