Overview
"Oui, sir!"
-Agnes
If Chaptor is /Co/ City's rough equivalent of Batman (who shows up at times, by the way), then Agnes is the equivalent of Robin, only not gay. As long as Chaptor has operated as a detective his faithful (and highly resourceful) maid has always been at his side, with her reassuring words, calm demeanour, and endless supply of equipment.
Frills and Chills
No-one is quite sure where Agnes came from- the only two people who know for sure are Agnes herself and Chaptor, and neither one of them is telling. Rumors abound in great number, most of them placing Agnes as an orphaned girl begging for coins on the street and with many involving sex (the perpetrators of the latter stories are usually detained by the /co/ps and politely hurled off the side of the City). Whatever the origin, it is known that when Chaptor first appeared to duel Ursus McFlannigan in Trafalgar Square (his first case), Agnes was there on the sidelines with tea and the comically oversized slingshot. Since then the two were almost never seen apart, aside from when members of Chaptor's Rogue's Gallery made the enormous mistake of kidnapping her, and this changed little or not at all when the two were forcibly dragged into World 27C by Doctor Science.
Agnes is highly resourceful and diligent, though her English vocabulary is limited to one word alone, heard in her traditional reply to Chaptor: "Oui, sir!". As anyone having heard her when mad will know, her vocabulary in French is quite more expansive and... colorful, shall we say. Still, Agnes remains ever the lady, cautious and careful but not overmuch, and seemingly capable of pulling anything smaller than a microwave oven from the folds and pockets of her maid's uniform.
Justice /Co/nquerers
In the horrific alternate reality of the Conquerors, Agnes has been forced into a much more prominent role following the failed Counter-Revolution. Knowing that he was being hunted, Chaptor transferred command of the Teen /Co/mrades (and one of his bank account access cards) to the highly capable hands of the young maid before vanishing into the /Co/ City underworld, barely one step ahead of Nicky Two-Vests's goons.
Conquerers Agnes has become much more than just a simple maid. With the mantle of the T/co/ on her shoulders and Chaptor's bank card in her fist, Agnes can get ahold of anything in /Co/ City she desires, whether it be in the control of the Resistance or the Regime. Armed with a Subtitle Chip (a microchip implanted in the brain that projects subtitles in a desired language onto thin air whenever one speaks in a foreign language) and her ability to produce almost any object on demand, Agnes has stepped up to the position of T/co/ backer quite ably, runnign the show with a burning determination that is backed by a truly Gallic hate for Nicky Two-Vests, and what he has done to her beloved master.
